About BruinHope

Our
Story

BruinHope is actively volunteering in two orphanages in Tijuana, Mexico: Siempre Para Los Niños and Niños Con Fe. We take three to four trips per quarter and offer support wherever it’s needed. During each visit, we engage with children ranging from infants to 18 years old through fun and meaningful activities. Our team plans hands-on educational sessions that focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), designed to spark creativity and inspire curiosity—while always keeping learning playful and uplifting. We also cook homemade meals and organize interactive games that contribute to the children’s overall development and emotional healing.
At Siempre para Los Niños and Niños con Fe, every child carries a story -- some arrive in the middle of the night, and others experience hunger, abandonment, or the trauma of violence. The Casa Hogares directors welcome each child with open arms, offering not only nutritious meals, warmth, and safety, but also the sense of family and belonging every child deserves. For many, these casa hogares are more than just a shelter, they are the promise of hope and a brighter future. BruinHope is honored to play a small role in that journey.
